Striped Sock Cat

This one has a face ! - successful ? I don't know ... still can't see anything though. . . it's arms are ropey as well - different kind of socks = different ways of doing things me thinks ... ears appear to perhaps be more successful, and the material didn't fray and give up quite as much, so who knows, keep trying  ! !!

Sock Cat

My attempt at sock cats ! .... first attempt anyway, more to come.. A little tatty,  but chose not to make a separate head for this one, as it's more a stylised cat - partially my excuse for it having no face, but also as I couldn't visualise it with one .. I quite like it without .. clean, contemporary, blue cat!  The little one is made out of the remainder of the one sock I used to make the bigger one, so it very tatty, as was quite fiddly, and on a second attempt could be approached better.

Bertie the Sock Dog

I made this sock dog for my flat mate, Katy - one, as she's obsessed with dogs, two, it's her birthday soon, and three - she can't have her pet dog visit when she moves into the new flat with me come the new uni year, so! Here is her new flat mate, sock dog Bertie. Bit tatty - but adds to the charm - just fixed his eyes =/ they fell off...
